You might have spent much of your life feeling like you are navigating a world that was not designed for you — and working hard to fit in, to keep up, to seem like everyone else.
Perhaps you have become very good at masking — performing a version of yourself that feels manageable to others, while underneath you feel overwhelmed, exhausted or disconnected from who you really are.
Or perhaps you are beginning to understand that neurodivergence — ADHD, autism, or the experience of navigating both — is part of your story, and you want a space to explore what that means without having to explain or justify yourself into being understood.
Counselling offers a space where you do not have to perform. Together, we can explore your experiences of ADHD, autism and neurodiversity — how it affects you, how it affects the people around you, and how it shapes your relationships, your sense of identity and your day-to-day life.
My approach is Humanistic Integrative, drawing on person-centred, psychodynamic, attachment-informed, Gestalt, CBT and Jungian techniques. I work collaboratively with you to understand your experiences and find what feels most supportive.
Masking and overwhelm — understanding the cost of performing neurotypical and finding ways to feel more grounded.
Identity — exploring who you are beyond a diagnosis, and how neurodivergence shapes your sense of self.
Relationships — understanding how neurodivergence affects your connections with partners, family, friends and colleagues.
Navigating the world — finding practical ways to work with your neurodivergence rather than against it.
I offer in-person counselling in Highbury & Islington, North London, and online sessions via Teams across the UK. Whether you prefer face-to-face or online therapy, we can find an approach that works for you.
