Relationship and Self-Esteem Counselling

Perhaps you find yourself repeating familiar patterns in relationships — with partners, family, friends or colleagues. Or maybe you have become very good at putting everyone else's needs before your own, while quietly feeling disconnected from what you actually need.

You might struggle with confidence, boundaries or self-worth. Or you might recognise that the way you relate to others has been shaped by experiences from your past — relationships in your family, childhood dynamics, or patterns that have followed you into adulthood.

How counselling can help

Counselling offers a space to understand these patterns without judgement. Together, we can explore how past relationships and childhood experiences influence your present connections, what boundaries might look like for you, and how to build relationships that feel more authentic and sustaining.

My approach is Humanistic Integrative, drawing on person-centred, psychodynamic, attachment-informed, Gestalt, CBT and Jungian techniques. I work collaboratively with you to understand your experiences, relationships, patterns and needs.

What we might explore

Relationship patterns — understanding recurring dynamics in your relationships.

Boundaries — exploring what healthy boundaries look like and how to communicate them.

Self-esteem — working with self-criticism, people-pleasing and difficulty recognising your own needs.

Past experiences — exploring how childhood and earlier relationships shape how you relate to yourself and others today.
